CHECS is seeking a new Chair to implement the recommendations outlined in the CHECS Strategy report. The CHECS Board believe that the plans outlined in this document offer an excellent way forward for CHECS and also that it properly reflects the views of those on and outside of the Board and this strategy now needs to be enacted.
What CHECS now needs is a suitable Change Agent to come forward, secure funding and enable this process to develop. The new Chair’s role will be to get the Strategy in motion, find new allies, ideas and sources of funding to make this happen. Applicants will find the Strategy document on the website as well as more details about CHECS and what we stand for.
It is anticipated that the current Chair will remain until a suitable replacement is found but is hoped that the new person would be able to start sometime between December 2022 and April 2023.
We therefore invite anyone who is interested to please submit their CV and covering letter to firstname.lastname@example.org by 8th December.
Applications will then be considered and shortlisted. Interviews will take place virtually, date to be confirmed on this since we shall be running close to Christmas. Shortly after which the successful applicant will be invited to take their place as Executive Chair.
