NML started life in 2004 providing bulk milk payment testing services to milk purchasers across Great Britain but rapidly grew to incorporate the testing of milk recording samples for its parent company, NMR, as well as all the health testing that sits hand in hand with having individual cow milk samples. NML laboratories are also fully equipped to test blood and tissue samples.
NML’s BVD HerdCheck is the CHECS accredited surveillance scheme for BVD for specialist dairy and dairy/beef herds. HerdWise is CHECS accredited whole herd, quarterly Johne’s disease testing service, using milk-recording samples. CertiFarm is NML’s CHECS accreditation service for BVD.
