Amy Cox

Following graduation from Liverpool in 2012, Amy spent her first couple of years in the Brecon Beacons working in mixed practice. Realising her interests lay in farm animal work, she decided to move back to her roots in Cheshire, from where she has worked in farm animal practice for over 10 years. She is passionate about all aspects of farm animal medicine and surgery and has gained a reputation for her work in flock health and sheep medicine as well as a certificate in Advanced Veterinary Practice (Cattle).

Amy is our British Cattle Veterinary Association representative on the CHECS Board, as of October 2025, and she looks forward to bringing her clinical experiences of infectious disease management and eradication in cattle to the team.
